Welcome to the Exam Room

The Exam Room is where the veterinarian gets a chance to become acquainted with you and your pet and is able to see how you interact with that special friend in your It's fun and challenging to interact with the patients.life. This is where the physical exam and close  inspections of your pet take place it is a good place   for you to ask questionsDr. Eva Hall examines a little feline patient. (even those that seem to be silly, see FAQs) about general pet care. Take the time to point out to the doctor any problems you think your dog or cat may be having. Since most veterinarians don't work for free, be sure to ask for an estimate of costs for any procedures or medications that you are considering.  Nobody likes a surprise when it comes time to paying the bill so don't ever be timid about asking about the prices!  By the way, if your pet needs food, toys or other high quality pet products at good prices, click on the banner below for ordering and shipping directly to your door or office.

Diarrhea in dogs and cats seems to be a topic of interest to pet owners due to the frequency of episodes of gastrointestinal upsets that occur.  Some dogs will eat almost anything!  Ingestion of foreign substances, such as grass, can trigger stomach and intestinal irritation and diarrhea... but there are other causes, too. Take a look at this recently added topic here.

The Physical Exam...What to expect
Annual physical examinations play an important role in preserving your pet's state of health.  We will show you what should be checked and why.  One vital aspect of every physical exam should be questions about your pet's diet.  If your veterinarian happens to forget to ask, then you should bring the topic up. Be sure to mention any health or behavior questions you have about your dog or cat. OK... Now open your mouth wide, stick out your tongue, and say "Aaahhhhhhhh..."

The Importance Of Getting A Diagnosis  Don't leave the veterinarian's office without understanding what the diagnosis is for the problem your pet has.  And make sure you understand what "those little pills" are for.  Read Dr. Dunn's article that was published in Dog World Magazine.

An Overview of Feline Diseases   This presentation covers many of the commonly discussed feline diseases and is a good starting place to increase your knowledge of diseases of cats.
